While collecting sponsorships is encouraged, it is not required. Individuals who bring at least $50 in sponsorship money to the event will have their admission fee waived. Checks should be made payable to “GTCB”.

ABOUT GTCB’S WORK

The Golden Triangle Council of the Blind is a not-for-profit advocacy organization that works to improve the lives and enhance the independence of people who are blind or visually impaired. Its members (both blind and sighted) meet once each month to discuss current issues affecting the visually impaired community and develop strategies for overcoming them. Some of GTCB’s most recent efforts have focused on preserving adequate public transportation, advocating for accessible voting machines, promoting Braille literacy, and educating the public on pedestrian safety. GTCB members regularly travel to Harrisburg to meet with lawmakers and join legislative advocacy efforts. GTCB is an affiliate of the Pennsylvania Council of the Blind and the American Council of the Blind.
