The Vision Loss Discussion Group, and Golden Triangle Council of the Blind General Membership meeting will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2010, from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM, at the Allegheny County Human Services Building, 1 Smithfield Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
It will be downstairs in the Rachel Carson room.
Note that the date has changed to November 13, which is the second Saturday of November, because of a scheduling conflict.
The Vision Loss Discussion Group will be from 1:00 to 1:45.
This months topic is the roll your blindness plays in your personal and familial relationships, such as friends, family, etc. It should prove to be a great discussion.
Then we will have 15 minutes of information sharing about current advocacy efforts at both the statewide and national levels.
After a short break, we will have our monthly general membership meeting of the Golden Triangle Council of the Blind. This portion of the meeting includes
reports from GTCB's various committees and discussion of local advocacy efforts. .
